NEWS 24/6/09:INFORMS Journals Archive (1952-1997) - pricing deadline extended until December 31, 2009.  In 2008, The Institute for Operations Research and the ManagementSciences (INFORMS) announced the availability of the INFORMS Journals Archive (1952-1997).  The deadline to purchase the journals archive--at a special low-cost rate for institutional libraries--has been extended to December 31, 2009. The INFORMS Journals Archive (1952-1997) includes content from over 15,000 INFORMS journal articles covering more than forty-five years of operations research. The journals archive includes articles from Volume 1, Issue 1 to 1997 for 9 INFORMS journals launched before 1998. NEWS INFORMS and Portico Announce Long-Term Journals Preservation Agreement HANOVER, MD, February 25, 2009
The new INFORMS/Portico agreement provides additional assurance to university and specialized libraries that INFORMS journals will remain accessible in the future. Under the terms of the agreement, the "dark archive" would provide access to INFORMS journals under four
circumstances:
1. if INFORMS is no longer in business
2. if a publication is no longer offered
3. if back issues are no longer available
4. if INFORMS stopped publishing or providing journal access for more than 90 days.

NEWS RELEASE.  HANOVER, MD, April 30, 2008 - The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS(r)) today announced a series of new benefits to institutional subscribers and their patrons:
NEW in 2008 - Journals Archive:
INFORMS will offer in the summer of 2008 its online archival product covering journal content from 1952 to 1997.  Attractive pricing will allow institutions to complete their online holdings at an affordable price. The archive includes issues from all nine scholarly journals with archival material.  Watch for more information from INFORMS.
Additional 2008 content:
INFORMS is adding over 2,000 pages of new content across our journals in 2008 while maintaining a reasonable price per page.
Articles in Advance:
INFORMS now offers peer-reviewed, revised, typeset, copyedited, and author-approved articles online in advance of their appearance in print as part of a regular institutional subscription.
New Institutional Subscription Policy:
Coming in 2009, all current institutional subscribers will receive three additional years of content back to and including
1998 as part of the regular online subscriptions.  Previously, regular institutional subscriptions covered issues from 2001 forward.
Journals Suite Discount:
In 2009 INFORMS will offer their entire 12-journal suite as a discounted package to institutions.  Watch for more information from INFORMS.
Hosting by HighWire Press:
INFORMS journals are now hosted by HighWire Press, whose reputation and capability deliver INFORMS journals in the most useful and user-friendly way possible.
2009 Subscription Pricing:
INFORMS plans to announce in the coming weeks only a modest, society-style increase in 2009 institutional subscription rates.
