America: History and Life
NEWS (9/1/08): From Tim Colvey - I can advise that Historical Abstracts and America: History & Life have been set up via EBSCOhost for all Australian & New Zealand university customers. We are currently reviewing each customer’s set up to ensure that HA and AHL are appearing on all appropriate EBSCOhost profiles (per customer). ...Additionally, we will send out a communication shortly to advise that HA and AHL are now available on EBSCOhost and to request notification from customers if they cannot “see” these databases via their individual EBSCOhost profiles.
(23/7/07): These two ABC-CLIO databases were recently acquired by Ebsco Publishing in June 2007. There will be no interruption in service and no immediate change in access via the ABC-CLIO web-site. ABC-CLIO will continue to provide content and technical support. Work is in progress to make these two databases available via Ebscohost, and customers are expected to be transitioned to this platform by July 2008.
Update 13/11/07: In early 2008, we will be making beta versions of both datasets available on EBSCOhost. The intention is that from June 2008 forward, HA/AHL will only be available via EBSCOhost. We will of course work individually with libraries to ensure a smooth transition. As practically all HA/AHL subscribers are existing EBSCOhost users, we are hopeful that the platform change-over process will be a straightforward and positive occurrence for all affected sites.
Please note: Access
